About the Journal

The Journal of Communication (JoC) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Nurdin Hamzah, Jambi, Indonesia. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to publish and disseminate research findings, theoretical discussions, and critical analyses in the field of communication studies.

The journal covers a wide range of topics related to communication, including public relations, media studies, digital communication, journalism, corporate communication, interpersonal communication, organizational communication, and other related areas within the communication discipline.

Journal of Communication (JoC) is published biannually, with two issues released each year in June and December. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of the published works.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports the greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published in this journal are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

The journal utilizes an online submission and editorial management system through the Open Journal Systems (OJS). Authors are encouraged to submit original manuscripts that have not been published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
