Journal of Communication (JoC) supports open-access publishing and the free dissemination of scholarly knowledge.

Authors who publish their articles in the Journal of Communication (JoC) agree to the following terms:

1. Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their work. By submitting and publishing their articles in the Journal of Communication, authors grant the journal the right of first publication.

2. License

All articles published in the Journal of Communication are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license allows others to share, copy, redistribute, adapt, and build upon the material for any purpose, provided that proper credit is given to the original author(s) and the journal as the source of publication.

3. Additional Distribution

Authors are permitted to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of their work (for example, including it in a book or depositing it in an institutional repository), provided that the original publication in this journal is clearly acknowledged.

4. Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are allowed and encouraged to deposit their work online (for example, in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networks) both before and during the submission process. Such practices can facilitate scholarly communication and increase the visibility and citation of the published work.
